Hike tour to the Gamskarkogel in the Gastein Valley, the highest grass mountain in Europe!

 


At 2467 meters above sea level, an impressive panorama unfolds in all directions, including stunning sunrises and sunsets! Right at the summit, the oldest mountain hut in Europe invites you to enjoy a cozy stay.
Prior registration is requested for overnight stays.

The Gamskarkogel Hut opens on June 6th initially with limited daily operations. Overnight stays are possible starting June 12th, bookings can be made online at www.gamskarkogelhuette.at

HOW TO REACH US
From Bad Hofgastein: starting from the Annencafé, continue hiking towards Rastötzenalm. Upon arrival, you will find a marked path leading you further up to Gamskarkogel.

From Bad Gastein: starting from the Kötschachtal, march to Poserhöhe (about 1 hour), from here you will also find a marked trail to Gamskarkogel.
